Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern your use of the www.dhkexpertmovers.com website (DHK Expert Movers.com). Please read them carefully.

  1. AGREEMENT

    2. Your viewing or use of this site constitutes your agreement, on behalf of yourself and the entity you represent, to all of the terms and conditions provided below. DHK Expert Movers.com may make changes to such terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Your subsequent viewing or use of DHK Expert Movers.com will constitute your agreement to these changes. This includes the operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published on DHK Expert Movers.com.

    3. DHK Expert Movers.com is the sole author and owner of the content on its site. All content including text, logos, graphic design, images, and other content are subject to all applicable proprietary and intellectual property rights or licenses held by DHK Expert Movers.com.

    4. The services provided by DHK Expert Movers.com are available to residents of the United States and Canada who are ages 18 and older. DHK Expert Movers.com may refuse to offer its services to any person or entity, at any time, in its sole discretion; even if access is granted to other users. DHK Expert Movers.com reserves the right to terminate access to any or all parts of its services with or without notice, at any time.

  4. LIMITS OF LIABILITY

    5. DHK Expert Movers.com operates as a third-party broker of moving services. It does not employ individual moving providers and is not responsible for ensuring each providers compliance with local, state, or federal licensing and insurance regulations. The services of DHK Expert Movers.com are provided as-is, without warranty. DHK Expert Movers.com shall not be liable for any direct or in-direct damages, including loss of profits. DHK Expert Movers.com does not guarantee the quality or safety of any moving provider services obtained through DHK Expert Movers.com. Customers agree to engage services at their own risk.

  5. INDEMNITY

Through your viewing or use of DHK Expert Movers.com you release, and agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MD Expert Movers, LLC its affiliated companies, along with their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of actions, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.

  6. CUSTOMER CONTACT

    7. Customers agree to allow DHK Expert Movers.com to contact them via phone, email, and text message. Customers further agree to allow DHK Expert Movers.com to share this contact information and associated addresses with moving providers as needed for the express purpose of providing the requested moving services.

  7. PAYMENTS

    8. All customer payments are made in advance to DHK Expert Movers.com. DHK Expert Movers.com offers customers two ways in which to release this payment to moving providers: via signed paperwork authorizing release of payment or via phone.

    Customers agree to make payment promptly (within one hour) of the completion of services from a moving provider. Authorizing payment constitutes an irrevocable agreement to release funds to the respective provider and the customer is not entitled to a refund of any amount released. Customers agree that the sole recourse for all payment disputes shall be against the applicable moving provider, not DHK Expert Movers.com. The customer shall not attempt to block payments by attempting to refuse or rescind payments via a credit card provider.

    Moving providers agree that payments must be received only through the two authorized payment methods: signed paperwork or via phone. If a customer refuses payment, the provider must address the issue directly with the consumer and not with DHK Expert Movers.com.

  8. REFUNDS

    9. Customers may receive a full refund only if a cancellation is requested more than 24 hours before a scheduled reservation is to begin. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice shall be charged a minimum fee equal to two hours of services provided.

  9. CLAIMS AND INSURANCE COVERAGE

    10. Moving jobs scheduled at least 24 hours in advance of the requested moving date are eligible for claims submission and insurance coverage up to $0.60 USD per pound of goods listed on a customer’s inventory. The claims and insurance coverage is not available to customers who have requested services scheduled to begin less than 24 hours from the initial reservation.

  10. CONFIDENTIALITY

    11. Confidential information, such as business information, forms, contacts, service models, customer information, and financial data shall be used solely for the purpose of viewing, reserving, purchasing, and providing services with DHK Expert Movers.com. Unauthorized use and disclosure of this confidential information is strictly prohibited.

  11. REVIEWS

    12. Moving providers agree to have unedited customer reviews, both positive and negative, posted on the DHK Expert Movers.com website. This information may be used to create an internal ranking system to govern which moving providers receive new job requests.

  12. CONFLICT OF INTEREST

    13. As a moving provider of DHK Expert Movers.com you may not solicit work from customers outside of the DHK Expert Movers.com forum. Moving providers are forbidden from using customer contact information to garner business without using DHK Expert Movers.com as an intermediary. Moving providers agree not to engage in the creation of similar business models meant to detract customers from DHK Expert Movers.com. Nor shall customer information be used for independent advertising for individual moving providers.

  13. RESTRICTIONS

    14. All users agree to abide by local, state, federal, and international laws pertaining to use. Users agree not to distribute or facilitate distribution of any content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive, tortious, obscene, profane, or which otherwise violates this agreement. Unauthorized access to the DHK Expert Movers.com system for purposes of disrupting, damaging, mining, or harvesting any information is forbidden.
